Many of us have wished, at times, to change some of our physical features or to look like our favorite star, and Selena Gomez is no different. Despite being one of today’s most influential and stunning celebrities, Gomez recently gushed about model Bella Hadid’s beauty and even admitted that she wishes she looked like her.

The star got honest.

The 30-year-old singer recently posted a video on TikTok where she is trying out a filter inspired by 26-year-old Hadid. In the video, Gomez lip-synced to a viral audio clip of the model’s voice saying, ’’So my name — my name is Bella Hadid.’’

With that filter on, Selena appeared with almond-shaped eyes, a slim nose, highly defined eyebrows, full lips, and a few freckles. The star added text to the clip, saying, ’’I wish I was as pretty as Bella Hadid.’’

Selena and Bella have someone in common.

Besides both being fabulous in their own way, the 2 women have more similarities than we might think. In fact, they both dated the musician: The Weeknd.

Hadid’s relationship with him lasted for more than a year and a half, ending in November 2016. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, then started a relationship with Selena, but the couple called it quits about 9 months later.

After breaking up with Selena, Abel and Bella briefly rekindled their romance for a little while.
Gomez didn’t have any hard feelings about it and even noted that she felt ’’proud’’ to have a ’’true friendship’’ with her ex.

And it seems that Selena has only positive feelings toward Bella as well, and she loves to celebrate the model’s beauty and doesn’t shy away from expressing her admiration for her.
She even called Bella her ’’#girlcrush’’ while sharing a modeling snap of the 26-year-old.

Selena had to face physical and mental health issues in the last few years. But despite it all, she’s still spreading positivity around her, and we admire her for it.
