Rumors say that Johnny Depp will Be Starred in Beetlejuice 2 with ex-fiancé Winona Ryder
Rumors are circulating on social media that Johnny Depp will be making a post-trial comeback by starring in the upcoming film ‘Beetlejuice 2’. Some fans have claimed that they have seen Johnny’s name in the cast list of ‘Beetlejuice 2’
According to the reports, Michael Keaton and Johnny Depp will make a film comeback in the upcoming sequel. The rumor started making the rounds on the internet while Depp was still fighting an intense legal battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Right from the beginning of this trial, a vast majority of people are rooting for Johnny Depp. Fans didn’t only pray for his success but also showed immense support for their all-time favorite Captain Jack Sparrow; social media platforms are flooded with posts in favor of the actor.
And now that he’s won the defamation trial against Amber Heard, people have gone crazy. While some are demanding an apology from Disney for dropping him from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise, others pray that they should get to watch him again on the big screen.
The original Beetlejuice movie that was released in 1998 was about a married couple who died in a car accident and was later resurrected as gormless ghosts. Despite being dead, their spirits didn’t leave their dream house, and one day an annoying family moved there. So, they decided to get rid of them.
The fabulous Stranger Things actress Winona Ryder was also a part of the movie and played the character of Lydia Deetz, the teenage girl who moved into the dead couple’s house with her parents.
Ryder is also known as the ex-fiancé of Johnny Depp. They were engaged for three years back in the 1990s. She also supported the actor during his legal fight against Amber Heard.
While the trial was ongoing, she stated that her experience with Johnny Depp was “wildly different,” and he is in no way like what Amber is describing him to be.
“I truly and honestly only know him as a really good man, an incredibly loving, extremely caring guy who was so very protective of the people he loved and me, and I felt very safe with him,” Ryder said.
“I don’t want to call anyone a liar, but from my experience of Johnny, it is impossible to believe that such horrific allegations are true. I find it extremely upsetting, knowing him as I do.”
The actress, who was also a part of ‘Edward Scissorhands,’ has said that she is hopeful for ‘Beetlejuice 2’ to go ahead.
While talking to USA Today, she confirmed that she would be a part of Beetlejuice 2.
“I’m very excited and hopeful that it will happen. We would only do it if everything was perfect and we had all the people, obviously Michael and obviously Tim.”
‘Beetlejuice 2’ would also reunite Johnny Depp with his old pal, Tim Burton, the director who has cast him in eight of his films, including ‘Ed Wood’ and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.’
