There are grave fears for the safety of four little kids after they were last seen getting into a car with a man with ‘Joker’-themed face tattoos.
Joshua Carter, 28, was seen taking them from an address at The Leap, north of Mackay around 11.30am in a white 2005 Nissan Patrol 4WD.
Queensland Police now fear the children, aged eight, seven, four and three, may be at ‘significant risk’.
The nature of the man’s relationship with the children has yet to be revealed by police.
His appearance was described as ‘solid’ by cops, who said he is around 175cm tall with a shaven head and full bushy beard with multiple face and body tattoos.
One of the man’s face tattoos read ‘Why so serious?’, a nod to Batman villain Joker’s catchphrase from the 2008 movie the Dark Knight.
