Netflix star José de la Torre has died at the age of 37, months after sharing his devastating health diagnosis.
The Spanish actor, who was best known for playing the role of Ivan in the series Toy Boy on the streaming service, passed away on Thursday (December 5).
Months before his passing, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with an unspecified “serious illness” back in June.
It is understood the actor had been receiving treatment for his condition, which had kept him out of the limelight for some time.
Spanish actress and singer Lolita Flores led tributes to the late star online, writing: “How hard it is for me to accept that you’re gone, without even knowing you.
“We shared very few hours, but your 37 years hurt me. Life is so unfair sometimes. You’re handsome on the outside and on the inside.
Your departure hurts me… and the pain of those who loved you hurts me. I didn’t have time to love you, but I did have time to get to know you.”
